     Mobilizes grassroots support throughout the United States to promote economic and social justice by campaigning to end labor rights violations around the world. The campaign strategies are designed in collaboration with workers struggling to gain the right to organize, the right to earn a living wage in a clean, safe work environment, and the right to bargain collectively with their bosses. Through these campaigns, CLR's goal is to empower workers.
     The site is easy to navigate with up-to-date information on current campaigns and headline news. There are also links to other organizations CLR works closely with. -SLG

     Focused mainly on health and safety, this site has information about the organization's activities and links to related sites. -Previous reviewer
     Just to specify, the site focuses on the health and safety (and prevention of illness/injury to) construction workers, as opposed to all workers' rights in general. -AJH
     Offers a plethora of statistics and studies on the injury rates of construction workers and how to both prevent injuries and deal with them when they occur. -KMR

     A nonprofit organization dedicated to achieving just and humane treatment for workers worldwide. It promotes enforcement of labor rights internationally through public education and mobilization, research, litigation, and collaboration with labor, government and business groups.

     Has information on how to take action for the rights of working people. 
     The site is easy to navigate and has lots of up-to-date information and news. It has regional offices in more than 40 cities in the US and provides complete contact information for each. -SLG

     Labor Beat develops and distributes progressive television, radio, videos, and computer communications on labor and social issues. More than three hundred Labor Beat television programs and Labor Express radio programs have now been produced.

     An independent federal agency created in 1935 to administer and enforce the National Labor Relations Act. Conducts secret-ballot elections to determine whether employees desire union representation and it investigates and remedies unfair labor practices.
     The National Labor Relations Board site has plenty of information, including press releases, summaries, manuals and other publications. The site also has a Spanish section. -Previous reviewer

     This is a website associated with the technicalities of labor issues, so it's a tad difficult to follow unless you're familiar with the system. -KMR

     Since its founding, UNITE has fought aggressively for workers' rights, taking a lead in organizing new workers, fighting against sweatshops and corporate greed. The merged union, which represents workers in Canada, the U.S. and Puerto Rico, is also the largest industrial union in the metropolitan New York area and in the Southeast U.S.

     The struggle was not easy, but under the leadership of Cesar Chavez, United Farm Workers made historic achievements by appealing to the best in people from all walks of life to help farm workers.

     Upon first access, the site pops up a rather intrusive request to sign up for its newsletter.  It seems unnecessary, given that there is both a newsletter signup "join" link at the top, and a signup form for the newsletter at the bottom of the main page. -AJH
     The site is uncomfortable to the eyes because of the bright colors. Otherwise there are a decent number of articles. -KMR

     Charged with preparing the American workforce for new and better jobs and ensuring the adequacy of America's workplaces. It is responsible for the administration and enforcement of more than180 federal statutes.
     The DOL website has a useful search feature that is almost necessary in this information-filled website. -Previous reviewer
     This is true; the main page is perhaps a bit overloaded with content.  Finding a specific topic without using the search or index features is mildly difficult. -AJH
     This is an official government site with trustworthy statistics and studies. Find out percentages of workers in certain fields and their average wages, among other things. -KMR
