Latin America stretches from the warm tropical waters of the Caribbean to windswept islands near Antarctica. There is a wide range of races, languages, religious beliefs, conflicts and needs. With a wealth of natural resources and cultures, Latin America has great potential. Below you'll find links to many different websites and organizations working for social justice, development and understanding in Latin America. Association for Progressive Communications Offers vital links to more than 50,000 NGOs, activists, educators, policy-makers, and community leaders in 133 countries. Here are seven different networks in Latin America and one in the United States. APC members can provide further information about these countries and grassroots ways to volunteer or donate for the environment, social justice, peace and other causes.
