     A well organized website that provides both domestic and overseas volunteer opportunities.
     This site has tons of information on different places you can volunteer. There is a search engine dedicated to different kinds of opportunities, such as jobs, internships, and volunteering. It's very easy to use, but it seems that most of the opportunities are for people 21 and older. -TAL
     Provides extensive opportunities on the Volunteer Opportunity Search webpage and now includes more opportunities for kids and teenagers. -LOL
    This site looks very nice. We can get many opportunities on this web page, like volunteers, internships and jobs. We can also find someone who are interested in same field with you.-AM

Offers a range of volunteer opportunities where your skills, experience and training can be put to good use. Volunteers take on a range of tasks involving program management, administration, operations and direct service. Each year, volunteers help older persons file their taxes, become safer drivers, land a job, secure public benefits, manage their financial affairs and cope with the loss of a loved one.
     With 2,700 AARP chapters throughout the US, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin islands there are countless ways to get involved in programs such as clothes and food drives and mentoring projects. -LOL
     This is very helpful site. We can find many things like hotel or flight for travel. Also, it has lots of entertainment like game, I think this site is good for all ages. -AM

     This site is aesthetically pleasing, but it doesn't deal directly with volunteer services. It links to Youth Service Compact and the USA Freedom Corp Volunteer Network, which are both helpful in finding different volunteer opportunities. -TAL
     Very effective in encouraging people to help others in need. Plenty of information regarding each topic in the "Five Promises Plan", which provides resources for adults looking to get involved with aid for America's youth. -LOL

Works to foster civic responsibility, strengthen the ties that bind us together as a people, and provide educational opportunity for those who make a substantial commitment to service.
     Volunteer work at AmeriCorps usually requires a long term commitment, similar to that of the Peace Corps. Strict rules are imposed but the cause is noble. -LOL
     This focuses mainly on volunteering for ALL ages, this is a full commitment.- BA

A national nonprofit coalition of environmental, aging and volunteer organizations. Identifies support for senior volunteer activities that address national, state and local environmental priorities. Through its national network of 12,000 local organizations, EASI selects local hosts to recruit, train and recognize senior volunteers who carry out a wide range of environmental activities.
     Large range of programs especially suited to the abilities of senior citizens. Contact is necessary to learn more about how to get involved. Also, as of 08/24/05, the homepage is out of order and we've provided you with another functioning link to the "About" page. -LOL
     This website is great for the seniors, I never knew there was such a program connecting elderly with volunteer services.-BA
