Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with
an open one. It
is possible to store the mind with a million facts and still be entirely
uneducated. An education isn't how much you have committed to
memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between
what you do know and what you don't. Education is what survives when what has been learned
has been forgotten.
