Nothing liberates our greatness like the desire to
help, the desire to serve. Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift
back to God. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and
should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. You will come to know that what appears today to be a sacrifice will
prove instead to be the greatest investment that you will ever make. Service is the rent we pay to be living. It is the
very purpose of life and not something you do in your spare time. …no matter how big government gets, and no matter how
many services it provides, it can never take the place of volunteers.
Sacrifice is giving up something good for something better. The broadest, and maybe the most meaningful definition
of volunteering: Doing more than you have to because you want to, in a cause
