    American Cancer Society is filled with cancer-related issues, articles, statistics and programs. The American Cancer Society is updated daily with new cancer-related articles. It has a full listing of the nearest local offices in your neighborhood. It also has plenty of information about the most common types of cancer as well as links to other major cancer websites. -PT

    "When the new Care Centers opened in the Spring of 1996, M. D. Anderson enhanced its outpatient services by combining its previously separate, specialty-based clinics into multidisciplinary care centers. These Care Centers focus on a particular group of cancers or a particular disease site. In a single location, a pathologist, surgeon, radiation oncologist and medical oncologist, for example, collaborate to determine the best possible treatment plan for an individual patient."

All services are provided free of charge and are available to people of all ages, with all types of cancer, at any stage of the disease.
